EVORA ("we", "our", or "us") operates the EVORA mobile application and the website at evora-egy.com (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using EVORA, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Location data

EVORA may process location information — approximate or precise — when you grant permission, in order to identify nearby charging stations, calculate routes, provide trip-planning features, estimate distances, and improve charging recommendations.

Location permissions can be changed at any time through your device settings. If location is disabled, some features (nearby stations, trip planning) may be limited.

Account information

• Name, email address, and phone number
• Profile photo and optional bio, city, and country
• Login credentials, or Google account details if you sign in with Google

Vehicle information

• EV brand, model, year, battery capacity, range, and connector type
• Charging sessions, saved trips, and consumption data you record

Usage and community data

• Favorite stations, reviews, station status reports, and bookings
• Community posts, comments, likes, club memberships, and marketplace listings
• App interactions and preferences used to improve the Service

Device and notification data

• Push notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) to send you alerts
• Basic device and diagnostic information for reliability and security

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide core features: maps, trip planning, station discovery, and bookings
• To create and manage your account and profile
• To send notifications about bookings, station status, and updates
• To enable community and marketplace features
• To maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve the Service

3. How We Share Information

Your personal information is not sold to charging-network operators. EVORA also does not sell charging-network operational data as a standalone data product.

Personal information may only be shared with service providers where necessary for operating EVORA — such as hosting, authentication, analytics, maps, notifications, or other infrastructure services — subject to applicable privacy requirements. It may also be shared:

• Publicly, only where you choose to (e.g. reviews, community posts, marketplace listings, or profile details you set to visible)
• When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users

4. Data Retention

Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required for legal obligations, security, or dispute resolution.

4a. Account & Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your EVORA account and associated personal data at any time. If an in-app account-deletion option is available in your version of the app, you can use it directly. Otherwise, contact us at info@evora-egy.com and we will process your request in line with applicable law. Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

5. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on applicable data-protection laws, you may have the right to:

• Access, update, or correct your profile and vehicle information in the app
• Control location, notification, and profile visibility permissions
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Request a copy of your data, or request deletion of your account and associated data

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and row-level access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Children's Privacy

EVORA is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us to have it removed.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
